Buy Psilocybe Cubensis Grow Kit USA Online
Years of research and development have resulted in the next generation of Mondo® Golden Teacher Magic Mushroom Growing Kits. The Psilocybe Cubensis Grow Kit USA is now more effective than ever. Compared to the first generation of Psilocybe cubensis Mondo® Golden Teacher Grow Kit, the second generation contains:
- Larger yields mean more mushrooms
- More flushes*
- Better resistance against contaminations
- Different but easier instructions
Some strains produce more flushes than others. The first three flushes are the largest.
Meet the new standard of easy-to-grow kits
The Psilocybe Cubensis Grow Kit USA differs differently from previous grow kits. This is only seen in the substrate recipe and is a well-guarded secret. Even not with us!
You do not need to utilize any more spores, as with the previous and other quick-grow kits. The spores evolved into mycelium inside the substrate (the cake) in the grow box during the laboratory process. Mycelium has colonized the substrate completely and is ready to grow mushrooms.
How to store Psilocybe Cubensis Grow Kit USA correctly
It is advised to begin the cultivation process as soon as possible. If you want to start growing later, keep the grow kit in the refrigerator (2°C to 8°C) for 2 weeks. Wrap the grow kit in a plastic shopping bag and seal it tightly.
Contents
- 1x grow box: This contains substrate with active mycelium (the cake)
- 1x grow bag – The bag has a micron filter to keep contaminants out
- 1x paperclip – For closing the grow bag.
You need
- Misting Bottle – Misting is needed for the humidity level
- Potable water – For misting and soaking
- Clean environment: Work clean to give other fungi and bacteria (microorganisms) no chance to contaminate.
We recommend using
- Surgical gloves
- Facemask
- Disinfectant for hands
- Disinfectant for surfaces
- Soaking Bag
- Thermometer
- Thermo mat (when room temperature drops below 18°C)
How to prepare the room and yourself before you begin
- Close any open windows. Wind or draft may bring microorganisms that can contaminate the Psilocybe Cubensis Grow Kit USA.
- When taking out the grow box with the cake from the carton box, put it on a disinfected surface. If this surface is not clean, microorganisms may attach to the grow box, flourish inside the Psilocybe cubensis ‘Golden Teacher’ Magic Mushroom grow kit, and contaminate the grow box.
- Make sure you work with clean hands and arms. We recommend using surgical gloves or a good disinfectant when handling the kit. You should use a facemask to avoid breathing into the grow bag and on the cake.
Starting the process
- Fill the box with fresh, potable water. Close the grow box well and let it soak for 12 hours.
- After 12 hours, pour the surplus water out of the grow box.
- Place the grow box inside the grow bag. The open end of the bag should point upward.
- Remove the lid from the grow box. Rinse the lid and store it in the carton box.
- Fold the open end of the grow bag twice; do not cover the micron filter.
- Place the paperclip on the fold so the bag stays closed. Now the Psilocybe cubensis ‘Golden Teacher’ Magic Mushroom Grow Kit is ready to grow.
- Place the Psilocybe cubensis ‘Golden Teacher’ Magic Mushroom Grow Kit inside the carton box, on top of the ziploc with lid.
Temperature
24°C is the optimal temperature. The temperature should not go below 18°C and should not rise above 29°C. You can use a thermo-heating mat to keep the temperature from going below 18°C. In the winter or colder parts of the world, a thermomat is a must-have.
Light
The Psilocybe Cubensis Grow Kit USA only needs light to ‘understand’ that it has reached the surface. Only then will mushrooms sprout.
A few hours of fluorescent, artificial, or indirect sunshine per day is sufficient. Because direct sunlight destroys mycelium, keep the sun away from the grow kit.
Water / Misting
The misting begins the day after you begin the treatment. To open the grow bag, remove the paperclip. Spray once on each side of the bag before spraying the cake. As a result, you must do it four times per day. Misting allows fresh oxygen to enter the bag as well. After misting, quickly close the bag with a paperclip.
Mushrooms
The first small mushrooms (the pins) should appear between 5 and 16 days if the conditions are favorable. The strain also has an impact on this. Some strains of Cubensis mature more slowly than others.
Flushes
The mushrooms appear in groups. This group may be small or large. The strain determines this. A flush is a form of growth similar to this. Mushrooms almost never ripen all at once. A kit may contain more than one flush. The first two flushes have the most impact. There will be more flushes, each one smaller than the last.
Picking
When the veil between the hat and the stem is barely torn, the mushrooms are mature and ready to harvest. Don’t put it off anymore. Wear surgical gloves or sanitize your hands, wrists, and arms. Pick only the ripe mushrooms and leave the rest to grow.
Remove the mushrooms from the cake by holding their bases with your thumb and index finger. Slowly move your hand clockwise until the mushroom releases. Don’t remove the mushrooms.
This would jeopardize the mycelium, possibly killing it. Pick the little mushrooms and pins after you’ve chosen the majority of the larger mushrooms.
Mushrooms that grow from the sides
Mushrooms thrive when there is plenty of light and minimal penetrating resistance. Because the sun shines on the sides of the cake, mushrooms may sprout there as well.
This is tough to contest and legally permissible. Some gardeners cover the edges of the grow box with aluminum foil to keep them dark, but this is not always effective. When mushrooms grow there, gather them right away before soaking the kit.
Hands are clean! Remove the grow box from the bag and place it in your other hand, upside down. Wiggle the plastic box so that the cake falls out and onto your hand.
Place the plastic box on a disinfectant surface. You can now use this hand to remove the mushrooms from the sides of the cake. After selecting all of the mushrooms, return the cake to the plastic box and continue soaking.
Soaking
Once you’ve gathered all of the mushrooms, you’ll need to get the kit ready for the next flush. Remove the grow box from the grow bag with sanitized hands or gloves. Fill the box halfway with clean, drinkable water. Remove the Ziploc bag lid and use it to close the grow box.
Place the unopened grow box in a soaking bag or wrap it in a clean plastic shopping bag. Close it tightly and refrigerate for 12 hours at 2°C to 8°C. This is referred to as the soaking process. The cake will now absorb water, making it ready for the next flush.
You can hang the grow bag with a micron filter upside down to dry as it soaks. Hang it upside down to prevent bacteria from getting into the bag.
After each flush, many growers like to use new and unused grow bags. After 12 hours, take out the soaking bag with the grow box from the refrigerator and unpack it.
Next Flush
To proceed, repeat steps 2 through 7 as you did when you originally started the process. A new flush will occur a few days later. A grow kit can provide at least two flushes. The initial flush is frequently the largest.
The End
After the second flush, if no more mushrooms appear in your grow kit for at least 5–6 weeks or if the grow kit turns green, red, grey, or yellow, it can be thrown. The color shift indicates that the grow kit has been infected with a different fungus or bacteria. The mushroom grow kit will no longer produce mushrooms and should be dumped in the garbage or yard.
Spores
When you pick the mushrooms too late, they will release their spores. The spores cause the cake and mushrooms to turn black/purple. This isn’t a major deal; it just doesn’t look very good. When mushrooms release spores, they begin to decay, and the active compounds degrade. Mushroom potency will be lowered.
